About the role
Enhance the security of applications, platforms, and development processes by collaborating with software engineers, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments, code reviews, API testing, threat modeling, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
- Define and enforce secure coding standards and integrate security tools within CI/CD pipelines.
- Support secure architecture reviews for cloud-native applications, microservices, and containerized workloads.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and develop cybersecurity training programs for development teams.
- Monitor threats, respond to security incidents, and stay informed on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- 5+ years in information security, with 3+ years in application security or DevSecOps.
- Experience with security testing tools, threat modeling, and cloud security.
- Strong communication skills.
Qualifications
Preferred certifications include CISSP, CSSLP, OSCP, among others.
