Application Programmer III
What's the Job?
Design and develop ETL processes to support data integration and transformation projects
Translate Perl code to Python to improve system efficiency and maintainability
Collaborate with operational partners and fellow developers to validate functionality and ensure quality
Contribute to framework development for data processing architectures
Utilize Agile methodologies, including JIRA and Bitbucket, to manage development tasks and version control
What's Needed?
- Extensive Python coding skills with the ability to read and translate Perl code
- Experience with MS SQL Server, including advanced Transact SQL skills
- Knowledge of MongoDB is beneficial
- Experience developing within an Agile environment using JIRA and Bitbucket
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with team members and operational partners
About the Role
The successful candidate will be part of the Software Development Department supporting the ETL framework development and data processing initiatives.
