Application Performance Testing Engineer

About the role

The individual will work closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance. This role is highly hands-on and focuses on Dynatrace, Elastic, OpenTelemetry, monitoring strategy, distributed tracing, synthetic monitoring, alerting, and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Work with development teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
• Help developers interpret performance issues, investigate production incidents, analyze logs and traces, implement monitoring solutions, and drive proactive observability practices across the organization.
• Experience or certification with Dynatrace or Elastic is a must.
• Experience or certification with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence is a plus. (Devin AI is even better)

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) + years’ professional relevant experience and Bachelor’s Degree in CS, CIS, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum one (1) + years of recent and relevant experience in an information systems management role (with direct reports) having responsibility for engineering or support.

Qualifications

• Deep and proven knowledge and experience in at least two of the following technologies (vendor certifications are preferred): Servers and Storage technologies including Cisco UCS and NetApp or Pure Storage technology stackVirtualization technologies, including service automation using VMWare and NutanixSQL database technology in a larger enterprise environment with complex replication strategiesUnified Communications technologies including web, audio and video conferencing

Pay

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
