Application Field Service Engineer

About the role

As a member of our team, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected. You will support both pre-sales and post-sales activities including customer demonstrations, material evaluation, on-site installations, as well as servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems for all products and markets. You will check out and approve the operational quality of system equipment, instruct customers in operation and maintenance, and provide training. When not traveling, you may participate in call center phone support and CRM system activities, and may eventually be assigned as the primary technical support contact for specific customer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales and post-sales activities including customer demonstrations, material evaluation, on-site installations, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
• Check out and approve operational quality of system equipment.
• Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system and provide training.
• Participate in call center phone support and CRM system activities when not traveling.
• Act as the primary technical support contact for specific customer accounts as assigned.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Exposure to the printed circuit board and semiconductor packaging industries.
