About the role
Yaskawa America, Inc. is a global leader in variable speed drives, motion controls and robotics. The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and firsthand knowledge of process automation solutions specifically in the AC drives area. They should have 3 to 5 years of experience involving Yaskawa or competitor product lines, applications and projects. Field experience and C++, serial communications and simulation tool experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and know-how to assist customers in the use of Yaskawa products and services to improve their application and processes.
- Develop relationships with customers fostering “value add” growth opportunities and enhance the utilization of Yaskawa products and services.
- Provide product, application, and process knowledge for projects and solutions from concept to completion.
Requirements
- A BS degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience involving Yaskawa or competitor product lines, applications and projects.
- Field experience and C++, serial communications and simulation tool experience is a plus.
- At least 25% domestic and international travel required.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually.
Schedule
This role requires at least 25% domestic and international travel.
