About the role
Cadence Design Systems is seeking new STEM bachelor’s graduates with experience using electronic design automation (EDA) tools to join their Customer Support Team's Rotational Program. This is an entry-level rotational position for STEM bachelor level graduates who have limited experience but a strong desire to learn and be part of the electronic technologies of tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Work with the best-in-class EDA tools
- Collaborate with technical experts and support the sales team
- Provide front-line design services, technical sales, and customer support to advanced Cadence customers
- Work with Cadence account teams to develop innovative solutions to customers' technical challenges
Requirements
- STEM bachelor’s degree
- Limited experience in EDA tools
- Strong desire to learn and contribute to the field of electronic technologies
Qualifications
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Interest in electronic design and design automation
Skills
- Basic understanding of digital design, simulation, physical design, analog layout, and verification
- Knowledge of embedded software development and HW/SW codesign
- Experience with UNIX, C/C++, and scripting languages like Perl, TCL, Python
- Understanding of digital physical design and implementation
- Knowledge of sign-off for timing, IR drop, power analysis, and SI analysis
- Basic understanding of custom and analog design

Pay
The annual salary range for California is $74,200 to $137,800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits.
