About the role

We are currently in a phase of rapid growth and are assembling a dynamic team of motivated, high-energy engineers to help redefine intelligent building controls. We are looking for an Application Engineer I who is decisive, innovative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where change is the only constant.
Responsibilities
- Design & Draft with Precision
- Own the Blueprint: Independently support the design of sophisticated building automation systems using Delta Controls
- Visualize Success: Produce sharp, high-fidelity wiring diagrams, floor plans, and as-builts
- Innovate: Integrate cutting-edge, energy-saving strategies into every design to push the boundaries of efficiency
- Estimate & Analyze with Confidence
- Drive Competitiveness: Assist in preparing aggressive budgets and precise energy utilization calculations
- Winning Strategies: Support design/build proposals that showcase clear, technical superiority
- Communicate & Collaborate with Purpose
- Assertive Engagement: Interface directly with customers to extract technical requirements and provide expert guidance
- Team Synergy: Work hand-in-hand with Account Managers to develop high-impact, competitive proposals

Requirements

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
- Experience: 2+ years in HVAC, controls, or BAS design
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of DDC, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to explain complex concepts simply
