Application Developer (Oracle EBS Database Administrator)

Responsibilities

• Perform activities in support of R12 EBS environment
• Manage Oracle EBS database in a RAC/Data Guard configuration
• Develop and maintain system documentation & processes related to supporting Oracle EBS in an Exadata environment
• Include patching, cloning, performance tuning, application configuration, etc.
• Collaborate with our business partners to troubleshoot performance issues
• Work closely with great teammates to ensure system resources are at optimum levels
• Help mentor and train other Oracle EBS DBAs

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Oracle Enterprise Business Suite Administration experience
• Installation, upgrading, patching of EBS databases and applications
• Administration of EBS application and concurrent processing tiers
• Knowledge of UNIX and Linux
• Clone/Backup/Restore of EBS database and application
• Query tuning
• Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills
• Requires a Bachelors degree and 6+ years experience with database administration, installing, upgrading and patching databases or other directly related experience
• Oracle Enterprise Business Suite R12 is a plus
• Oracle RAC and Data Guard experience is a plus

Location

This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT. The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus is the company’s primary technology and operations center.
