Application Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-stack Java application development, including front-end, back-end, and database components
• Design, code, debug, test, and document software applications in accordance with established standards
• Provide timely troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technical support for production systems
• Collaborate with internal and external customers, system users, and Corporate IT to gather requirements and refine solutions
• Apply strong analytical and conceptual thinking to solve complex technical challenges
• Demonstrate professionalism, ethical decision-making, and a commitment to high-quality results

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in: Java/Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and JavaScript, PostgresSQL or other relational database (i.e. Oracle), Git source control, Web application design and development, HTML, CSS, JSON, UX fundamentals, XML

Preferred Skills

• Agile software development methodologies
• Agile Project Management tools such as Jira/Confluence (preferred) or similar alternatives
• REST and SOAP web services
• XSLT, XSD
• Python
• Android development
• Jenkins build and deployment pipelines
• Experience with ERP or financial/business systems
• Experience in the government contracting industry
