Position Overview

The Application Analyst III plays a vital role in advancing Harbor Care’s mission and vision by training, supporting, configuring, optimizing, and enhancing enterprise applications while leading projects, providing reporting and analytics, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver effective technology solutions that improve business operations.

Requirements

  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and internal teams.
  • Configure and maintain application settings, workflows, and integrations to meet evolving business needs.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and support procedures.
  • Develops, analyzes, and delivers reporting and data analytics to support strategic decision making, organizational initiatives, optimize application performance, and ensure data accuracy across systems.
  • Provide a higher level of support for enterprise applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Lead or participate in application-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with clients, staff, and community partners.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, records, or reporting requirements.
  • Support Harbor Care’s philosophy of care, mission, and organizational values in day-to-day work.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years in clinical informatics, healthcare IT or similar related work.
  • Working knowledge of an Electronic Health Record (EHR), Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Practice Management Systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated mastery of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience collaborating with people from diverse populations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse populations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in clinical informatics or healthcare IT
  • In-depth working knowledge of the use, configuration and maintenance of the Athena Practice EMR/EHS application.
  • Knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) rules, regulations and operations.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, other reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years in clinical informatics or healthcare IT
  • In-depth working knowledge of the use, configuration and maintenance of the Athena Practice EMR/EHS application.
  • Knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) rules, regulations and operations.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, other reporting tools.
