This waitlist application is for spring 2027 student teaching placements in Poudre School District.

Requirements

• Be entering your final semester/year of a teacher/education preparation program
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, including submitting a complete set of fingerprints with the Colorado Department of Education/PSD
• Be enrolled in a college/university that has a signed student teaching/internship agreement with PSD

Placement Criteria

Placements will be completed with the following criteria:

• Availability of qualified staff/educator(s) in requested areas
• Willingness of schools/staff to take a student teacher
• Outcome of student teacher interview between principal, mentor teacher, and prospective student teacher
