This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting and repairing residential appliances but would prefer to work at one apartment community rather than traveling between multiple service locations. We are offering a temporary position with both full-time and part-time scheduling options. The assignment is expected to last 60 days or less, with the possibility of an extension depending on the property's needs. Full-Time: Up to 40 hours per weekPart-Time: Flexible scheduling options, including working just a few days per weekAssignment Length: Initially up to 60 days, with the possibility of an extension depending on the needs of the propertyCommitment: We are ideally looking for someone who can commit to at least 30 days, with availability for up to 60 days preferred What You'll Be Doing Your primary responsibility will be diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential appliances throughout our apartment community. Diagnose and repair refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, ovens, and other residential appliancesTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and operational appliance issues to identify appropriate repairsComplete appliance-related maintenance work orders in occupied and vacant apartmentsIdentify and replace faulty appliance components and parts as neededPerform appliance installations, replacements, and general maintenance when necessaryWork independently to complete repairs safely, efficiently, and correctlyProvide friendly, professional service while working in residents' apartmentsAssist our onsite maintenance team with any additional property maintenance needs, including general work orders, apartment turns, and other maintenance-related tasks (as time allows)Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentWork collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the community running smoothly What We're Looking For Hands-on experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential appliancesStrong working knowledge of all residential appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, and ovensAbility to independently identify appliance issues and complete necessary repairsExperience using hand tools, power tools, and appliance diagnostic equipmentStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to manage assigned work orders and prioritize repairs efficientlyDependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independentlyGood communication and customer service skillsTeam-first attitude and willingness to assist with other maintenance responsibilities as neededPrevious apartment maintenance experience is a plusAbility to commit to a temporary assignment, ideally for 30–60 days Physical & Additional Requirements Reliable transportation to and from the propertyAbility to safely lift and move equipment and materials weighing 75 lbsAbility to climb stairs, bend, kneel, and perform physical maintenance workComfortable using mobile devices or electronic work order systemsBackground check required Why Weinstein Properties?
