About the role
We are seeking a self-motivated Appliance Repair Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair domestic premium appliances at customer locations.
Key responsibilities
- Travel locally to service Miele equipment using factory training, manuals, and digital tools.
- Level, adjust, and connect appliances including plumbing, gas, and electrical components.
- Install equipment and educate customers on proper use.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory, ensuring safety and organization.
- Accurately complete service and warranty documentation.
Qualifications and skills
- Valid driver's license and high school diploma or GED.
- Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic math.
- Strong communication, multi-tasking, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work professionally, manage difficult situations, and be self-motivated.
Working conditions and physical requirements
- Work primarily in customers' homes, with exposure to varying environmental conditions.
- Occasional physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and over 100 pounds occasionally, climbing stairs, and working off elevated surfaces.
- Ability to handle repetitive hand movements and work with bio-hazards for some roles.
Compensation and benefits
- $50,000 to $69,000 annually, with comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401k matching, PTO, holidays, employee discounts, and wellness programs.
