Appliance Repair Technician

About the role

Mr. Appliance is looking for Appliance Repair Technicians who are excited about figuring out how things work and love the challenge of troubleshooting something that's broken. You'll enjoy working with a team you actually like, having fun while you work, and protecting your free time—with no nights or weekends!

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair home appliances and equipment
• Provide cost estimates for repairs
• Effectively communicate with the customer to ensure they understand the services needed
• Order parts and ensure efficient use of company materials
• Collect payment for work performed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Previous experience of one year or more in appliance repair is a plus

• Efficiency: Respond to all customer needs for the day by being efficient with your time and the speed at which you complete repairs

• Pride in the Details: Keep your work vehicle clean and organized, and value attention to detail in completing customer information and reports
• Ongoing Training: Research new equipment and take advantage of training opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills as new appliances and features come out

Pay

$22.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on your experience in appliance repair, with opportunities to earn bonuses and commissions.
