What You'll Do

We're seeking experienced Senior Appian Developer Consultants to join our team. These consultants will provide integrated architecture support for our delivery teams and serve as trusted advisors to our clients. Their role involves scaling our business through expert guidance on solution delivery and platform design, while also mentoring our delivery teams on best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies
• Supports design, development, and test activities
• Guides clients on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives
• Ensures solutions are built for scale and performance
• Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles for internal enablement
• Provides thought leadership on process improvement
• Supports internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools
• Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions
• 5+ years of related IT experience
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field
• Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification
• Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology
• Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-tasking, and team-building skills
• US Citizenship required
• Preference given to candidates local to the DC Metro area
• Willingness to travel (0-15%) for client meetings as needed
• Experience working in the following technologies: Appian, RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB), Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)
• Experience working in the following areas is a plus: Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP), Data management and data visualization/BIDevSecOps and/or Configuration Management, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $115,439.00 - $162,293.00
