What You'll Do

We are seeking experienced Senior Appian Developer Consultants to support our delivery teams and serve as trusted advisors to our clients. These consultants play a crucial role in scaling our business by guiding solution delivery and integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions into client architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies
• Support design, development, and test activities
• Guide clients on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives
• Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance
• Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles for internal enablement
• Provide thought leadership on process improvement
• Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools
• Mentor, train, and enablement of resources

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions
• 5+ years of related IT experience
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field
• Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification
• Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology
• Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing; strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task, and work both independently and as part of a team
• US Citizenship required
• Preference given to candidates local to the DC Metro area
• Willingness to travel (0-15%) for client meetings as needed
• Experience working with the following technologies: Appian, RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB), Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)
• Experience working in the following areas is a plus: Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP), Data management and data visualization/BI, DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence

Pay Range

The salary range for this role takes into account various factors including skill sets, experience, and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $115,439.00 - $162,293.00
