What You'll Do

We are seeking experienced Senior Appian Developer Consultants to support our delivery teams and serve as trusted advisors to our clients. These roles involve leading implementation teams, supporting design and development activities, guiding clients on architecture design, and mentoring internal resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies
• Supports design, development, and test activities
• Guide clients on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives
• Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance
• Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles for internal enablement
• Provide thought leadership on process improvement
• Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools
• Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions
• 5+ years of related IT experience
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field
• Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification
• Strong experience with Appian delivery using Agile methodologies
• Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task, and work both independently and as part of a team
• US Citizenship required
• Preference given to candidates local to the DC Metro area
• Willingness to travel (0-15%) for client meetings as needed
• Experience working with the following technologies: Appian, RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB), Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)
• Experience working in the following areas is a plus: Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP), Data management and data visualization/BIDevSecOps and/or Configuration Management, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence

Pay Range

The salary range for this role takes into account various factors including skill sets, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $115,439.00 - $162,293.00
