Appian Developer Consultant - Civilian

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on Appian implementation on delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Help scale the business by guiding solution delivery and integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions into client architectures.
• Deliver best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design, and improve internal processes and tools.
• Implement complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies.
• Guide clients on design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives to ensure technical success.
• Drive process improvement for clients.
• Mentor and train resources within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in developing Appian solutions.
• 2+ years of related IT experience.
• Prioritization and multi-tasking skills, especially in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Appian delivery using Agile methodologies.
• Strong technical design and implementation skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience with RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB).
• Experience with web services, integrations, and middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion).
• Experience with cloud computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP).
• Experience with data management and data visualization/BIDevSecOps and/or Configuration Management.
• Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence.

Qualifications

• Active Appian Senior or Lead certifications preferred.
• US Citizenship required.
• Experience working in the following areas is a plus: Cloud Computing/IaaS, Authentication, Data management and data visualization/BIDevSecOps and/or Configuration Management, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence.
• Some travel may be required for client meetings (0-15%).

Pay

The salary range for this role is $98,855.00 - $138,979.00, taking into account various factors including skill sets, experience, and organizational needs.
