Appian Developer Consultant - Civilian

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on Appian implementation on delivery teams
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives
• Deliver advanced technical solutions and platform designs
• Implement internal processes and tools to enhance business efficiency
• Drive process improvement for clients
• Mentor and train resources to support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in developing Appian solutions
• 2+ years of related IT experience
• Prioritization and management skills, including the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with Appian delivery using Agile methodologies
• Strong technical design and implementation skills
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• US Citizenship required
• Some travel may be required for client meetings (0-15%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Appian Senior or Lead certifications
• Experience with cloud computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience with authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP)
• Experience with data management and data visualization/BI
• Experience with DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management
• Experience with Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence

Pay

The salary range for this role is $98,855.00 - $138,979.00, taking into account various factors such as skill set, experience, and training.

Schedule

Reasonable estimates of the current range have not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differentials. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
