Groundswell is a premier technology integrator and solution provider dedicated to addressing the most complex challenges faced by federal agencies. As part of our mission to drive change at a rapid pace, we seek an experienced Technical Appian Consultant to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on Appian implementation on our delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to our clients.
  • Help scale Groundswell by providing expert guidance on solution delivery and designing cutting-edge Appian solutions.
  • Deliver on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design, and implement internal processes and tools to improve business efficiency.
  • Implement complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies.
  • Guide clients on design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives to drive technical success.
  • Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance.
  • Drive process improvement for our clients.
  • Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in developing Appian solutions.
  • 2+ years of related IT experience.
  • Preference given to candidates with active Appian Senior or Lead certifications.
  • Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology.
  • Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team.
  • Experience working in cloud computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience working in authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP).
  • Experience working in data management and data visualization/BIDevSecOps and/or Configuration Management.
  • Experience working in machine learning, artificial intelligence.

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Preference given to candidates local to the DC Metro area.
  • Some travel may be required for client meetings (0-15%).

Pay

The salary range for this role is $98,855.00 - $138,979.00, taking into account various factors including skill sets, experience, and training.
