Appellate Attorney - Trial & Defense
Responsibilities
Review and analyze trial records and other documents;
Conduct complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda;
Provide research and support on complex cases.
Requirements
- Admission to the Florida bar
- 10+ years of trial and litigation experience
- State and federal court experience
- Exceptional legal writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
Skills
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Interpersonal, leadership and mentoring skills
- Ability to handle matters of a highly sensitive nature
- Ability to handle time sensitive matters, sometimes several simultaneously

This thriving practice represents insurers in high-stakes disputes and defending insurers in bad faith disputes and insurance class actions, in matters involving general liability insurance, property and casualty insurance, directors and officers liability insurance, first party property, professional liability insurance, and life insurance.
