Responsible for reviewing appeal requests for complete information, and returning incomplete requests to providers; researching appeal requests and making decisions on type of appeals; logging appeals into the existing tracking system. Responsible for performing job functions within the allotted timeframe in order to meet client requirements.

Your Role in Our Mission

- Review and research suspended medical claim appeals - Log appeals into the tracking system - Maintain necessary documentation - Participate in meetings and process improvements sessions as necessary - Train as a back-up for other areas, such as document control, courier, and customer service desk

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally - Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office products. - Organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

What You Should Expect in This Role

- Onsite role based in the Anchorage, AK office, requiring in-person attendance five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $37,500.00 - $53,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
