APP Supervisor – Neurosurgery & Neurointervention (CRNP or PA)
About the Role
UPMC Hamot is seeking an APP Supervisor (CRNP or PA) to lead a talented team of Advanced Practice Providers within our Neurosurgery & Neurointervention program. This role combines clinical practice with leadership, offering the opportunity to mentor providers, influence operations, support program growth, and help shape the future of APP practice in a highly specialized neuroscience service line.
You'll collaborate with neurosurgeons and neurointerventional specialists who provide advanced care for patients with stroke, aneurysms, brain tumors, spine trauma, nerve disorders, and other complex neurologic conditions. The program also offers expertise in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled APPs
- Influence recruitment, onboarding, professional development, quality initiatives, and APP practice standards
- Continue practicing clinically while expanding leadership responsibilities
- Help shape a growing multidisciplinary neuroscience program
- Partner with neurosurgeons and neurointerventional specialists delivering advanced neurologic care across the region
