About the Role

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), including Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) such as Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will work in collaboration with a physician in an outpatient setting, either in-person or via Telehealth. This role is based in primary care offices or clinics, which may include family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. The Primary Care APP may perform minimally invasive procedures and generally works with a stable patient population.

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction and in consultation/collaboration with a physician, performing services authorized by the supervising/collaborating physician that are part of the physician's normal course of practice and expertise.
• Promotes quality outcomes and initiatives.
• Must have a Supervision Agreement (SA) or Standard Care Arrangement (SCA) with a physician in a like practice.
• Practices within applicable state laws, appropriate boards, and in accordance with his/her/their SA/SCA and delineation of privileges.
• As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties.

Qualifications

• Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) License from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or American Association of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
• Physician Assistant (PA) certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.
