Clinic Care Tech - Primary Care (casual)

About the role

Primarily responsible for providing assistance with daily patient flow in the clinic setting. This position may float to support other areas as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supports and assists providers and clinical staff with administrative and select patient care tasks
• Supports patient scheduling and work queue needs as assigned
• Follows up on no-shows and works with providers to review and approve add-ons
• Greets patients, supports virtual visits, completes identification verification, height, weight and obtains vitals
• Chaperones exams as needed
• Administers questionnaires and documents in electronic medical record
• May perform limited patient care tasks based on training
• Processes incoming mail, scans, copies, and faxes as needed, prints and updates forms, answers internal phone calls, and may place office supply orders

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

Qualifications

• Customer service skills
• Ability to follow direction and perform tasks within scope of role
• Experience in healthcare or patient care experience
• Experience using electronic medical record
• Medical terminology

Pay

$19.00 - $25.90 / hour

Schedule

• Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Casual position (hours per pay period: 0)
• No weekends
