Clinic Care Tech - Family Practice

About the role

A casual position supporting daily patient flow in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Supports and assists providers and clinical staff with administrative and select patient care tasks
• Supports patient scheduling and work queue needs as assigned
• Follows up on no-shows and works with providers to review and approve add-ons
• Greets patients, supports virtual visits, completes identification verification, height, weight and obtains vitals
• Chaperones exams as needed
• Administers questionnaires and documents in electronic medical record
• May perform limited patient care tasks based on training
• Processes incoming mail, scans, copies, and faxes as needed, prints and updates forms, answers internal phone calls, and may place office supply orders

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• Experience in healthcare or patient care (preferred)
• Experience using electronic medical records (preferred)
• Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)

• Ability to follow direction and perform tasks within scope of role

Pay

$17.26 - $25.51 per hour

Schedule

• Shift rotation: Day rotation (07:30 AM - 05:00 PM)
• Casual position (hours per pay period: 0)
