Neuro Oncology APP – Full-Time Opportunity | Carilion Clinic
Join a growing and innovative neuro oncology team at Carilion Clinic, where you’ll play a meaningful role in shaping a new service line while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive care to neuro oncology patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Split your time between hospital rounding and clinic visits, offering continuity of care throughout the patient journey
• Dedicate approximately 50% of your time to direct clinical care
• Spend 50% of your time as a Service Line Coordinator, helping develop and grow a new neuro oncology program

What We’re Looking For

• Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with a passion for neuro oncology
• Prior oncology experience preferred, but not required
• A collaborative team player excited to contribute to a developing specialty program

Schedule & Work-Life Balance

• Monday–Friday, day shift
• No weekends
• No holidays

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Experience: 0

Licenses & Certifications

• Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• DEA license and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required or Physician Assistant (PA)
• AHA BLS-HCP certification required
• Advanced Life Support certification preferred
• Able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Computer literacy required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records

Compensation Range

$107,993.60 - $172,785.60
Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
