APP - Night Hospitalist, Bridgeport Hospital

Yale New Haven Health System is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Hospitalist team at Bridgeport Hospital, providing high-quality, timely care to patients across the hospital.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Clinical working experience as an NP/PA in the specialty/service line preferred but not required
• APRNs and PAs must be appointed to the Affiliated Medical Staff of a YNHHS hospital and complete the Medical Staff credentialing process
• Evidence of current competence to practice as an APRN or PA, including reference letters from physicians and other practitioners

Qualifications

• Active PA or NP certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB)
• Connecticut State Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
• ACLS/BLS certification
• DEA License
• Additional licensure, certifications, or continuing education credits may be required based on position and specialty
