APP Gen Surg/Trauma Inpt Nights/UKHC

Job Summary

The Trauma/Gen Surgery Night shift APP (Advanced Practice Provider) works within the adult ICU /progressive care/acute care areas and is an integral member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The APP functions primarily in managing critically and acutely ill adults and serves as a resource throughout UKHC for intensive care interventions. The APP is generally on a service-aligned team and manages patient care from ICU to step down to discharge. In some instances, the APP may have responsibilities for this same patient population as they return for follow-up in the outpatient setting.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting, standing, walking
• Pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 10lbs
• Occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs

Shift

Night shift; 7x 12-hour shifts per pay period.
