We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) or Project Manager (PM) to support the successful delivery of multifamily residential construction projects throughout the Northeast and Southeast markets. This role will work closely with senior leadership, consultants, contractors, developers, and internal project teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently from pre-construction through closeout.

About the Role

  • Assist in managing multifamily residential projects through all phases of design and construction.
  • Support project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and ownership teams.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, delays, or budget impacts.
  • Facilitate project meetings and prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action-item tracking.
  • Review and track Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
  • Assist with construction document reviews and coordination between disciplines.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with design intent.
  • Support punch list development, closeout documentation, and turnover activities.
  • Maintain organized project records and reporting systems.
  • Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and cost control efforts.
  • Review consultant and contractor invoices for accuracy and contract compliance.
  • Support procurement activities and contract administration.
  • Help prepare project status reports for internal leadership and client teams.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for project stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and municipal agencies.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and solutions effectively.
  • Support business development initiatives through exceptional client service and project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-8+ years of experience supporting construction or development projects, preferably multifamily residential.
  • Understanding of project management principles, construction processes, and contract administration.
  • Experience working with project schedules, budgets, and consultant coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project.
  • Knowledge of building codes, permitting, and construction documentation processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, CMIT, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
