We are seeking an experienced Technical Engineer Contractor
We are seeking an experienced Technical Engineer Contractor with strong Apigee hybrid / Apigee X expertise to support API platform development, migration, integration, and operational troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with proxy development, Kubernetes, scripting, CI/CD, and cloud-based deployment environments.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions to address complex engineering and platform challenges.
- Build, refactor, and migrate API proxies, shared flows, policies, flow hooks, target endpoints, and fault handling logic.
- Support Apigee hybrid / Apigee X migration activities, including runtime setup, environment configuration, deployment patterns, and operational troubleshooting.
- Perform system integration, testing, and validation to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of solutions.
- Script and automate deployment, configuration, and operational tasks in Linux-based or cloud-native environments.
- Work with Kubernetes components including clusters, namespaces, pods, deployments, config maps, secrets, and ingress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and resolve technical issues.
- Support CI/CD processes, version control, and release automation.
- Document technical specifications, processes, procedures, and support notes for reference and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, integration, and runtime issues in a timely manner.

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $50 - $60 per hour.
The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
