Apigee API Developer (Apigee X / Edge Migration) Hybrid

About the role

A strong Apigee-focused API Developer with hands-on experience in Apigee Edge and Apigee X/Hybrid, especially in migration projects. Solid API design, security, and traffic management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop API proxies using Apigee
• Configure policies, traffic rules, and API workflows
• Lead/support Apigee Edge to X/Hybrid migration
• Optimize API performance and reliability
• Define and implement API best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional and offshore teams

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with Apigee Edge
• Experience with Apigee X or Apigee Hybrid API Proxy Development & Deployment
• Experience with Apigee Policies, Traffic Management, and API Workflows
• Experience with API Migration (Apigee Edge to Apigee X/Hybrid)
• Experience with REST APIs / Web Services
• Experience with API Security (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
• Experience with Performance tuning and troubleshooting APIs
• Experience in large enterprise or high-volume API environments
• Experience working with distributed/global teams
