Apartment Service Technician II

Hourly non-exempt position with monthly renewal bonuses paid in addition to base pay.

About the role

We are seeking a Service Technician II for our 405-unit community made up of several unique buildings in Deep Ellum — one of Dallas's most diverse and eclectic walkable historic neighborhoods. Our Service Technicians complete all aspects of apartment maintenance such as HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing. As Service Technician II, you keep our residents happy knowing that their apartment and appliance repairs will be done quickly and professionally. Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing basic and complex maintenance issues including, but not limited to:
  • A/C and heating systems
  • Electrical and plumbing
  • Appliances
  • Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings
  • Tile, carpet, flooring
  • Ceiling leaks

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in on-site property maintenance
• Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment
• Valid Texas Driver’s License

Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.

Schedule

Work Days: Monday – Friday
Work Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm; Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
