Apartment Maintenance Technician - Relocate to Naples

About the role
As a Maintenance Technician at Amberlin South Naples, you will ensure an amazing community member experience and support the daily operations at one of our Active Adult 55+ communities. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this is an exciting opportunity to help us achieve our mission of building community.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the integrity of all physical structures, meet safety standards, and ensure a well-maintained living environment for community members, visitors, and team members
- Ensure the community meets the Company’s standards for show quality by daily inspecting the community
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Use YARDI to track work orders and make-ready progress
- Maintain fire sprinklers, backflow, panel, and alarm compliance including inspections and updated permits
- Maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment; responsible for obtaining, maintaining, care, and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company
- Achieve high expectations for the upkeep of the community and swiftly address maintenance concerns
- Practice proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues
- Develop strong personal relationships with our community members
- Achieve high community member satisfaction and promote retention
- Provide hospitable and high-quality service to ensure a memorable experience for all
Requirements
- Professional working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service and a valid driver’s license
- Proven experience in HVAC/maintenance repairs, preferably in lease-ups, multifamily housing, Active Adult, or hospitality
- HVAC/Pool Certifications and experience preferred
- Strong plumbing and electrical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience using YARDI or other property management software
- Effective communication skills with an ability to build collaborative partnerships
- Servant leader mindset and passionate about making a difference in others’ lives
- Devoted sense of accountability and solution-oriented
- General knowledge of OSHA, ADA, and Fair Housing regulations
- Reliable transportation; flexibility to work a regular Monday–Friday schedule and nights, weekends, and/or holidays when required (on-call pay available)
- Ability to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities; must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance
