Apartment Maintenance Technician | Pay: $23-$25 hr. + Quarterly Bonus

About the role

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department. You will service residents in a friendly, customer service-oriented manner and respond to all service requests, including on-call emergencies, as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of work orders and special projects
• HVAC maintenance and repair
• Completion of plumbing and electrical service requests
• Completion of apartment turns, including:
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Drywall repair
  • Painting
  • Appliance repair/replacement
• Diagnoses and repairs electrical issues
• Responds to all service requests and on-call emergencies in a timely and professional manner
• Maintains the exterior of the property daily to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal
• Performs housekeeping duties as required
• Handles snow removal during winter months when needed
• Maintains pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred
• Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting
• Plumbing, contracting, and builders' certifications and licenses are a plus
• Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge
• Availability for on-call purposes and flexibility to work weekends when necessary
