Experienced Apartment Service Technician | $26 to $28/hr. + Quarterly Bonus

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Arlington Club Apartments in Wheeling, IL. This role offers an annual pay potential of $60k+ with growth opportunities within our rising apartment industry.

Pay

$26–$28 per hour plus bonus.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of work orders and special projects
• Completion of plumbing and electrical service requests
• Completion of apartment turns, including:
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Drywall repair
  • Painting
  • Appliance repair/replacement
• Servicing residents in a friendly, customer service-oriented manner
• Diagnosing problems and repairs in electrical systems
• Responding to all service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager
• Maintaining the exterior of the property daily to ensure clean and acceptable curb appeal
• Performing housekeeping duties and snow removal during winter months as needed
• Maintaining pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred
• Strong experience in plumbing, electrical work, appliances, and painting
• Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge
• HVAC/EPA certification a plus
