About the role
Village Green is a 100-year-old management company with a focus on providing excellent service to residents. We are looking for a Maintenance Service Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support maintenance staff, including scheduling and delegation of work orders
- Inspect completed maintenance work and ensure quality standards
- Oversee service requests, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs
- Train and mentor new and existing maintenance team members
- Participate in interviewing and hiring maintenance staff
- Assist with maintenance budget planning and cost management
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge and team leadership experience
- Experience in apartment, hotel, hospital, or hospitality maintenance
- Supervisory experience in leading a maintenance team
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service abilities
- EPA certification or HVAC certification
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
