Apartment Maintenance Technician - Park

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service to residents and assistance to team members.
- Follow AIR’s process for completion of basic apartment turns to make the apartment ready for the next resident’s move-in experience.
- Complete resident-requested repairs and routine maintenance with general direction (e.g., troubleshoot and repair/replace plumbing, basic electrical components, HVAC equipment, and appliances).
- May provide functional/technical direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians and support the development of technical skills.
- May assist with managing vendor quality and perform move-in/move-out inspections.
- Responsibilities vary based on team member skillset, community needs, mechanical systems, and season.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in facilities or building environments.
- Proficient skills in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month).
- A reliable mode of transportation to respond to emergency service requests while on-call after hours.
- Comfort with physical activity; must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Pay
Expected hourly rate of $22.00 per hour. You will be provided a pay rate that aligns with your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements.
Monthly Customer Service Satisfaction Bonuses: Technicians who excel at consistently providing positive resident experiences can earn up to $250.00 per month.
