Apartment Maintenance Technician II
About the role
The Martin is a high-rise style community consisting of 188 apartment homes. For the fifth year in a row, Windsor Communities is the recipient of the 2025 Kingsley Excellence Award, achieving the top award for Overall Customer Service.
Responsibilities
- Must have intermediate competency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry.
- Available to be part of a rotating on call schedule for after hours and weekend emergency response.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures with apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliance areas.
Requirements
- Site specific certifications such as:- EPA Type II preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations

Pay
Hourly: Starting at $25.03 - $31.28 per hour, depending on years of experience, tenure, and location. Annual Starting Comp: $52,062 - $65,062.
Schedule
Flexible schedule, some weekend work, and participation in on-call rotations required.
Skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance
- Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms)
- Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools
- Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion
