About the role
Williamsburg Way Apartments in Columbus, IN is seeking a Full Time - Year Round Apartment Maintenance Technician II.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency repairs on apartments and common areas
- Handle painting and general construction tasks
- Manage HVAC systems, requiring experience and certification (EPA)
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Communicate effectively with residents and other staff members
- Conduct periodic inspections and maintenance checks
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, painting, or related field
- Experience with HVAC systems and EPA certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Completed a maintenance skills assessment during the interview process
- Pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to pass a physical demonstration of job duties
Skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using common tools and equipment

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on-call 1 week every 4 weeks
