Apartment Maintenance Technician

About the role

The role involves performing various maintenance tasks within apartment complexes, including but not limited to plumbing repairs, electrical work, and HVAC maintenance. The technician must also ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks
• Inspect and repair plumbing systems, electrical components, and HVAC units
• Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and building codes
• Communicate effectively with residents and other staff members
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• At least 2 years of related experience in maintenance or construction
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Good physical fitness and manual dexterity

Pay

Salary range: $20 - $25 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
