Apartment Maintenance Technician

About the role

This position is for an Apartment Maintenance Technician at HHHunt's Abberly Green apartments. The ideal candidate should be passionate about providing quality services and products, be a team player, and have a genuine interest in the community.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspections, work orders, turns and tasks in eight technical areas according to company policies, goals, and values, including high levels of customer service.
• Solve moderately complex problems within seven technical areas and assist in all other technical areas.
• Notify the Service Manager of parts or supplies needed to complete work orders, turns, or tasks when inventory is low.
• Participate in an On-Call schedule to respond to emergency calls and document time and work as required by company policies.
• Maintain current on all HHHunt company required training classes either in-person or virtually and maintain any required certifications.
• Communicate and work with contractors and vendors as instructed by the Service Manager.
• Keep accurate time sheets as required by HHHunt policies.
• Communicate promptly with the Leasing Office and Service Manager regarding charges, deficiencies, or concerns related to the community or residents.
• Ensure the community and all work are clean, neat, and safe for all residents and team members according to company and government standards.
• Represent the company professionally at all times and adhere to company dress codes.
• Maintain and use community equipment and vehicles according to company policies and manufacturer standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years of experience in a service technician or related field, or trade school certification in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Landscaping, Painting, Carpentry, Swimming Pools, or related field and 2 years of experience in service technician or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in eight technical areas including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Landscaping, Painting, Carpentry, and Swimming Pools.
• EPA 608 Type I & II certification required.
• Valid CPO certification required.
• CAMT designation required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated ability to use a smart device and a computer with organizational tracking systems.
• Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work outside for long periods of time in various weather conditions.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $24.00-$30.03/hr based on experience and certifications.

Hours may vary depending on the needs of the community and may require flexibility to work on-call.
