About the role

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance services to residents of HHHunt's Abberly Riverwalk apartments. The role requires a combination of technical skills, customer service, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Complete inspections, work orders, turns, and tasks in four technical areas following company policies and values.
  • Solve routine and some moderately complex problems within four technical areas and assist in all other technical areas.
  • Notify the Service Manager of inventory needs for parts and supplies to complete work orders, turns, or tasks when necessary.
  • Participate in an On-Call schedule to respond to emergency calls and document time and work as required.
  • Maintain current on all HHHunt company required training classes and certifications.
  • Communicate with contractors and vendors as directed by the Service Manager.
  • Keep accurate time sheets according to HHHunt policies.
  • Communicate with the Leasing Office and Service Manager regarding charges, deficiencies, and community/resident concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and safe environment for all residents and team members.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times and adhere to company dress codes.
  • Maintain and use community equipment and vehicles according to company and manufacturer standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in a service technician or related field, or trade school certification in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, or related field and 1 year of experience in service technician or related field.
  • EPA 608 Type I & II certification required.
  • Valid CPO certification preferred.
  • CAMT designation preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in four technical areas including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Landscaping, Painting, Carpentry, and Swimming Pools.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a smart device and a computer with organizational tracking systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work outside for long periods in various weather conditions.

The starting pay range for this position is $20.56-$25.68/hr based on experience and certifications.

Schedule

Hours will vary based on the needs of the community and may include evening and weekend work.
