Apartment Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Keep the community clean and well maintained
• Utilize troubleshooting skills to respond to a wide variety of residential service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare apartment homes for rent
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Oversight work performed by outside contractors
• Report any unresolved maintenance issues or concerns to the Management

Requirements

• Previous experience (2 years) in a technician position in apartment industry
• Possession of tools needed to perform routine maintenance tasks
• Dedication to exceeding the needs of all customers with an ability to build and maintain relationships
• Show thoroughness, accuracy, and organization when accomplishing tasks
• EPA Certification (Preferred)
• Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screening
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Able to use electronic communication professionally and efficiently
• Able to work on-call hours
• Able to drive and have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
