Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all building systems and equipment
- Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, ensuring great customer service and satisfaction
- Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances
- Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are performed
- Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track supply inventory
- Work collaboratively with the property management team to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repair work
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Availability for on-call duties and emergency maintenance as needed
