Apartment Maintenance Technician

AMLI Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for AMLI Joya.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and higher-level maintenance services such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, and glass replacement.
• Respond promptly to resident service requests.
• Be available for on-call shifts, including weekends and nights.
• Conduct inspections and participate in preventative maintenance, including pool, exterior lighting, filter changes, and apartment inspections.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents through necessary inspections and repairs.
• Repair or replace windows, locks, screens, sliding glass doors, shelves, mirrors, blinds, ceiling fans, and lights.
• Assist with painting and drywall repair tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, tools, and equipment.
• Care for, maintain, and inventory all supplies and equipment owned by the property and management company.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training.
• On-call and weekend availability is required.
• EPA Refrigerant Certified (Type I and II or Universal) or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Experience in maintenance and repair, including painting, drywall, basic electrical, and plumbing.
• HVAC certification required.
