About the role
Air Communities is seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Centennial, CO. This full-time position offers competitive pay, a 50% rent discount, and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Handle service requests and fix issues the right way
- Complete unit turns, make-readies, inspections, and punch work
- Work on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general maintenance
- Take part in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
- Keep work orders updated and help keep the property in good shape
Qualifications
- About 2+ years of maintenance experience is ideal, but we're open to candidates with strong technical training and less hands-on experience
- Experience or training in at least two areas like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, or carpentry
- Reliable work history and looking for a long-term fit—not your next short stop
- Able to handle on-call, weekends, and emergency response when scheduled
- Reliable transportation and able to live onsite or within a 30-minute commute
- Trade school, EPA/HVAC certification, multifamily experience, or a strong willingness to learn and grow is a plus
