Apartment Maintenance Technician - $1000 Sign-on Bonus

About the role

This position is responsible for providing quality services and products to residents of HHHunt's Abberly Avera apartments. The role requires a combination of technical skills, customer service orientation, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspections, work orders, turns, and tasks in four technical areas according to company policies and values, ensuring high levels of customer service.
• Solve routine and some moderately complex problems within four technical areas and assist in all other technical areas.
• Notify the Service Manager of inventory needs for parts and supplies to complete work orders, turns, or tasks when inventory is low.
• Participate in an On-Call schedule to respond to emergency calls and document time and work as required by company policies.
• Maintain current on all HHHunt company required training classes either in-person or virtually and maintain any required certifications.
• Communicate and work with contractors and vendors as instructed by the Service Manager.
• Communicate promptly with the Leasing Office and Service Manager regarding charges, deficiencies, or concerns related to the community or residents.
• Ensure the community and all work are clean, neat, and safe for all residents and team members according to company and government standards.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and adhere to company dress codes.
• Maintain and use community equipment and vehicles according to company policies and manufacturer standards.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in a service technician or related field, or a trade school certification in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, or related field and 1 year of experience in service technician or related field.
• EPA 608 Type I & II certification required.
• Valid CPO certification preferred.
• CAMT designation preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated knowledge in four technical areas including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Landscaping, Painting, Carpentry, and Swimming Pools.
• Demonstrated ability to use a smart device and a computer with organizational tracking systems.
• Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work outside for long periods of time in various weather conditions.
