Apartment Maintenance- Royal Oaks Apartments

About the role

Banyan Living, a trusted provider of luxury apartment living in North Royalton, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Royal Oaks apartment community. This vital role is crucial to maintaining our high standards of property management, ensuring that our residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will use your technical skills and expertise to tackle a variety of maintenance tasks, conduct repairs, and perform preventative maintenance across our properties.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all building systems and equipment
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, ensuring great customer service and satisfaction
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, and appliances
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are performed
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track supply inventory
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred
• A minimum of 1 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair work preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Availability for on-call duties and emergency maintenance as needed
