Apartment Leasing Sales Consultant - Flats 8300

About the role

AIR Communities owns and operates best‑in‑class apartment communities in major markets across the country. We are hiring a Leasing Consultant to work onsite at our apartment community Flats 8300 Apt Homes in Bethesda, MD. Our Leasing Consultants are top sales performers who create moments that matter for current and future residents.

What You Will Do

• Follow AIR's sales process, including prompt follow‑up with active prospects, scheduling and conducting tours, and selling the value of the community.
• Maintain a track record of consistently meeting or surpassing monthly leasing goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, creating moments that matter at every opportunity.
• Provide leasing support to all communities within the AIR portfolio as needed.
• Contribute to community marketing efforts.
• Adhere to Fair Housing Laws and Regulations.

Qualifications

• Goal‑driven and sales‑motivated.
• Adaptable to a fast pace and shifting priorities.
• Customer‑experience focused.
• Collaborative team player.
• 1+ year sales and customer service experience with a proven record of reaching sales goals in a fast‑paced environment (e.g., property management, hospitality, retail, or restaurant).
• Demonstrated success in goal setting/achievement and following a sales process.
• Excellent customer service skills to address current and future resident needs.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work during office hours, including weekends as needed.
• Reliable transportation.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Pay

Base pay of $21.00 per hour plus competitive commissions. Additional commission opportunities include higher‑rent‑rate units, exceeding monthly goals (tiered commission percentages), and longer lease terms (18‑month or longer). Employees also receive a 25% rent discount at any AIR community.
